The morning of their shoot was -30c. It was the kind of cold that hurts your face when you walk outside, and I instantly wondered if they’d want to rebook. So I sent Shalene a text checking in, and to my surprise, they were more than happy to run around in FREEZING temps to get some sick photos.
So I drove the hour or so drive to Dryden, Ontario and met them at the cutest little spot for golden hour. We legit had to leave the car running for warm up breaks, the pups could only come join for a few due to being chilly & Andrew nearly died of hypothermia… But these badass babes rocked it x10000.
I love when we throw the term “good” weather out the window. If you really can’t handle the cold, by all means, let’s reschedule for a warmer day. However, if you’re feeling like embracing the cold & don’t have kids to worry about getting too cold… let’s go make MAGIC HAPPEN!
A winter shoot with a beautiful couple is my jamalama.
